Spiritan Archbishops Dieudonné Nzapalainga (Bangui in Central African Republic) and Sergio Castriani (Manaus, Brazil) have received the pallium from the Holy Father on the 29th of June 2013.
Our confreres thus honoured are well aware of the heavy responsibility this sign confers on them, a symbol of the shepherd who must care for his sheep. Mgr. Sergio Castriani was a general councilor, then bishop of the prelature of Tefé, while Dieudonné was the Spiritan Superior in the Central African Republic and then Apostolic Administrator of the diocese of Bangui. They were appointed bishops on the 14th of May and the 12th of December 2012 respectively. All our best wishes and congratulations to our two confreres. Baba Gaston.
